Replacement Certificates & Reassessment

Need to replace a certificate? Please read the information below before submitting a request.

  • All certifications issued by us for the past 14 years have been provided electronically by email, with the certificate supplied as a PDF document. This means your certificate is provided directly to you and should be retained safely for your own records.
  • We do not keep copies of individual certificates indefinitely. In accordance with our data-retention obligations, we retain only the minimum information necessary to process your booking and certification. After 12 months from the date of your training, we no longer retain the information required to issue a replacement certificate.
  • For this reason, certificates cannot be reissued simply because the original email or PDF can no longer be located.

Which option do I need?

  • If you completed your training within the last 12 months and have genuinely lost your certificate, you can request a replacement certificate.
  • If your training was more than 12 months ago, or you state that you never received your certificate, you will need to complete a reassessment. This is because we no longer retain the records necessary to verify and reproduce your original certification.
  • LA WEAVE certification, if you trained with us in LA WEAVE, then please follow this link for replacement or reassessment.

If your training was more than 12 months ago, or you are unable to verify that you received your original certificate, select Reassessment Certification.

This option is available only if your original training took place within the last 12 months.

  • A reassessment is treated as a new assessment and therefore the replacement certificate will be dated with the date of your reassessment. It will not be backdated to your original training date.
  • Please note that where you require more than one certification to be replaced, a separate reassessment is required for each method/certification.

  • Replacement Certification – If your training was within the last 12 months, select Replacement Certification. If your training was more than 12 months ago, or you are unable to verify that you received your original certificate, select Reassessment Certification.

    Replacement Certification – Within 12 Months
    £50 per certificate
    This option is available only if your original training took place within the last 12 months.

  • Reassessment Certification – If your training took place more than 12 months ago, a replacement certificate cannot be issued from your original training record.

    This also applies if you believe you never received your certificate. As certificates have been issued electronically for the past 14 years, and certification records are not retained indefinitely, a reassessment is required where the original certification can no longer be verified.

    The reassessment must be completed for each certification/method you wish to replace.

    The certificate issued following a successful reassessment will be dated with the date of the new assessment and cannot be backdated to your original training date.
  • Reassessment Certification – More Than 12 Months
    £75 per method/certification

Important Information

  • Please ensure you select the correct form before submitting your request.
  • Certificates are the responsibility of the individual who completed the training and should be retained securely for future use. We recommend keeping your certificate PDF in a safe place and maintaining a backup copy.
  • We are unable to make exceptions to the 12-month replacement period. Where the original certification can no longer be verified because the training took place more than 12 months ago, a reassessment is required.
  • Submitting a request does not guarantee that a replacement certificate can be issued. Your information will be reviewed in accordance with our certification and data-retention requirements.
  • Please note we can not accept requests for certifications or reassessments via social channels.
  • Payment is required after completing the form.
  • Once your payment has been received, you will automatically be provided with an email, with instructions on how to submit your information to us by email.

How long does it take?

  • Replacement Certification – Up to 3 days providing you have provided us with the information.
  • Reassessment Certification – 3-7 days after you have replied back to the email with the information.

  • We understand your circumstances may be different, so we have kept the process really simple.
  • Within 12 months of training = Replacement Certificate
  • More than 12 months after training = Reassessment
